EPC PMC EDC

EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)

EPC is a project delivery method where a single contractor (known as the EPC contractor) is responsible for the entire project, from design and procurement of materials to construction and commissioning.

The EPC contractor manages the engineering design, sources and purchases all necessary materials and equipment, and constructs the project. This approach ensures a single point of responsibility and can streamline project delivery.

PMC (Project Management Consultancy)

PMC involves hiring an external consultancy firm to oversee and manage the project on behalf of the client.

The PMC firm acts as the client’s representative, providing expertise in project management, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. PMC services include planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and coordination among various stakeholders.

EDC (Engineering Design and Construction)

EDC refers to a project delivery approach where the same entity or contractor is responsible for both the engineering design and construction phases.

In the EDC model, the contractor handles the initial design phase and continues through to the construction, ensuring continuity and seamless integration between design and build phases. This approach can reduce communication gaps and streamline project execution.
